ATSF GP35 1457 leads ALCO RSD15 845 and GP30 1256 eastbound at Sandcut heading for Tehachapi in June 1966. Although the RSD15 was off the roster in 1973, both the 1457 and the 1256 made it to the BNSF era. The GP30 is still in service as BNSF 2456 while the lead unit was renumbered BNSF 2579 (not known if still in service).
