ATSF SF30C 9526, GP60 4018, C40-8W 839 and two other units are westbound after cresting the Ash Hill, CA summit in the Mojave desert in May 1993. The second locomotive, 4018 is a standard cab GP60. While the wide cab GP60M warbonnets received a lot of publicity, the standard cab GP60's toiled in relative obscurity.
