BN SD40-2 7247 along with three others and a fuel tender spliced in the middle tries to get as much speed as possible pushing a loaded coal train up the start of Crawford hill in July 1992. The train is leaving Crawford, Nebraska and passing under the US highway 20 overpass as it starts up the grade. Several years later the SD40-2 helper sets were replaced with 3 unit SD60M helper sets (also with a fuel tender).
