BNSF 714 rounds the big curve west of Dalies, NM on March 1, 2011.

BNSF C44-9W 714 hurries its stack train around the big curve west of Dalies, NM on March 1, 2011. The 714 was one of the last new locomotives to wear the "Santa Fe cigar band". The 700-717 have "BNSF" on their flanks, but "Santa Fe" on the front. The rest of the order, 718-799 have the "BNSF cigar band". Considering this unit was delivered in 1997, the paint still looks good. This is the "real" AT&SF heritage paint scheme.
