BNSF SD70MAC's 9839 and 9562 round the curve at Palmer Lake, CO on April 27, 2013. The coal train has made the long climb to the summit and is now heading down toward Colorado Springs. The 9839 started out in the BNSF "Heritage II" paint scheme, and was the first "Pumpkin" to be repainted into the current "BNSF Swoosh" style, several years ago. Its paint is holding up well except for a few minor spots in the yellow stripes at the top.
