CP SD40-2 5410 leads M636 4573 northbound on the D&H near East Worcester, NY in October 1994. The big alco had been put back into service from the dead line because of a power shortage and was running out its last miles for the Canadian Pacific on the Delaware and Hudson. The 4573 was the last M636 purchased by the CP in 1969. Subsequently it went to the Minnesota Commercial as number 73 and is now based at Olean, NY as number 631 on the Livonia, Avon and Lakeville as of this date (2/2011) it is still in service at age 42.
