SOO Line GP40 4648 is sandwiched between GP38-2's 4401 and 4412 as their train awaits by the station for permission to cross the Mississippi river bridge at Hastings, MN on September 19, 2008. The 4648 was originally Milwaukee Road 195, then 2021. When it was acquired by the SOO, it was originally SOO 2021, then finally 4648. Notice the different numeric font number boards on the rear of the 4648.
