CSX SD45-2 helpers 8972 and 8952 have just been cut off a westbound at Sandpatch and tied down to await their next call in the summer of 1998. Both of these SD45-2's started their careers with the Seaboard Coast Line (8972 was SCL 3614 and the 8952 was the SCL 2047.) Both have now been retired by CSX.
