NECR GP38 9533 on the interchange track at Palmer, MA.

NECR GP38 9533 heads toward its main as it traverses the interchange track from Conrail at Palmer, MA on a gloomy summer afternoon. The 9533 was subsquently renumbered to the 3851 and named "The Spirit of Palmer". It was originally a GM&O unit. Its NECR gold blends in with the surrounding weeds.
