The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge RR 478 crosses the last Animas River bridge with the first train on July 27, 2007. This was the first train into Silverton since the huge July 22 mudslide blocked the line near No Name falls. Service was only as far as Cascade while the slide was being cleared.
