Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge RR 481 re-enters the main line from the west leg of the Silverton, CO Wye on October 14, 2011. The season is winding down with just over two weeks remaining. The schedule is now down to just one daily train. The peak color is past and snow is on the mountains. Still a beautiful area.
