Wengeralpbahn 116 descends into Lauterbrunnen on August 22, 2009. The 116 was built as part of the 106-118 series between 1954 and 1964. It has been refurbished since 2000. This series is the earliest railcar series still in normal service. This picture gives a good idea of the grade coming into the Lauterbrunnen station.
