San Luis Rio Grande SD9043MAC 115 at Alamosa, CO on January 10, 2010. Behind it is SLRG115. Both of these locomotives were overhauled and repainted at VMV Paducah, KY. Both of these units were planned to be used on the ski train which didn't materialize due to a dispute with Amtrak over insurance. These units started their service as CEFX units which were used by Canadian Pacific in service with UP and CP in Canada and the Pacific Northwest through the Idaho gateway.
