Reading T1 (4-8-4) 2101 powers the American Freedom Train through Warwick, RI on August 6, 1976. The big northern was rescued from the scrap yard and reconditioned in about 30 days to pull the train in the east where clearance problems prohibited the use of the Southern Pacific GS locomotive 4449.
