Southern Pacific roundhouse in Fresno in 1953 shows a cross section of locomotive tenders from valley workhorses. The large tender is from F4 2-10-2 3684, ten wheelers 2325 and 2351 are next. The 1226 is an 0-6-0 while 1727 is a 2-6-0 mogul. At this time, SP steam had three more years in the valley while Santa Fe steam was pretty well history. The concrete section above the ten wheeler tenders indicates where a locomotive too big for the doorway attempted to enter the roundhouse (possibly a cab forward?).
