Valley Railroad 2-8-2 pulls into the Deep River station to allow passengers to transfer to the Connecticut River boat ride in July 1991. The 1647 was built new in China for the Valley Railroad. It was subsequently sold to the Susquehanna Railroad and renumbered 142. A sister engine is in service in Boone, Iowa.
